Erictini recipe

This is the ultimate drink for those who would prefer not to taste their alcohol, and love strawberry flavored drinks. It packs a nice cocktail kick without realizing it. Since regular strawberry juice is not that common at your local grocery store, I used Juicy Juice Brand Starwberry Kiwi Juice. I also substituted trhe Absolute vodka with Stoli Stawberry Flavored Vodka just to amp up the strawberry flavor. Not to piss off competing liquor manufacturers, but I find that Absolute and Stoli are quite comperabvle to each other and Stoli is one of the few vodkas that are available in strawberry flavor. I always keep fresh lemons on hand so I used fresh lemon juice. I have found from experience that fresh lemons as apposed to the little plastic squirt lemons is like night and day and makes a huge difference just as real limes do as apposed to the alternative. It's worth it! Be careful on the grenadine though. When they say just a splash in the recipe, thats just what they mean. Anything more than that ruins the drink and makes it far to sweet to enjoy the flavors properly melding together. Enjoy! -Mary Sharkey (Casco, ME)
