Green Fairy Blood recipe

This particular recipe is the brainchild of a slighty insane man named Dr Lyons. It became a good way for him to dispose of shoddy absinthe without pouring it down the drain.

1 oz absinthe herbal liqueur
1 oz creme de menthe
1 oz Green Chartreuse®
1 oz fresh water
1 tsp sugar

Mix ingredients in above order over a sugar cube on an absinthe spoon, light the cube and when the flame dies immediately stir in the sugar until it dissolves; serve.

Absinthe does not make you see little green faries or anything else for that matter it is not a halucinigen. But it sure is one hell of a drink.

Real Absinthe contains a component of wormwood containing thujon that has hallucinogeic effect, I'm sure different people react differently and how you drink it must also be considered.. but this is the reason that real Absinthe is not legal in many countries (it was legal for me to bring some to Canada from the Czech Republic)
