1 jigger amaretto almond liqueur
juice of 1/2 lemons
1 maraschino cherry

Rub the rim of an old-fashioned glass with lemon, and dip repeatedly into granulated sugar until it has a good "frosted" rim. Shake amaretto with lemon juice, and strain into the glass; over ice. Garnish with a maraschino cherry, and serve.

Use lemon juice over the sour mix, much-much better.

This recipe is indeed far better with real lemon juice. The sugar-rimmed glass is a nice touch, too.

This is not a TRUE Amaretto Sour drink mix...an Amaretto Sour is.
*1 oz.Ameretto
*Splash of Sweet and Sour
*Splash of Cherry Juice
Blend w/ a cherry on top of ice cubes....serve in a snifter.

Lemon juice and sugar always rule over lame-ass sour mix. Add 1/2 oz. rum to make it do it's job even better :)

Add Cherry Coke/Cherry juice

Yeah I just made this and its really good... but to make it better add a spash of cherry coke/ or cherry juice! Its really good!
