1 part sweet and sour mix
1 part vodka
1 tbsp grenadine syrup

Place ice in a cocktail glass. Fill 1/2 the glass with Vodka and the rest of the glass (leaving 3 cm at the top) with sour mix. Add a tablespoon of Grenadine per 8 oz. glass. Garnish with an orange slice and cherry!

Great drink

As a fan of vodka sours i really enjoyed this drink. However 50/50 mix of vodka and sour is a bit strong for my taste. This is how i make it.

Built on ice in an old fashioned glass.

1 oz vodka
1/2 oz grenadine
fill with sweet/sour

This drink is excellent and was a big hit at our party. I opted to use the recipe suggested in the comments above, as I preferred it less strong. (1 oz vodka, 1/2 oz grenadine, fill with sweet/sour). I will definitely be making these again!

I discovered this drink while at the Chuggin' Monkey on 6th Street in Austin for my Sista's 21st birthday (WOO HOO!) and I swear it is my favorite drink now! LOVE IT!!! I agree with Faith--doesn't make me sick the next morning either and that's my favorite part!

Tried ordering this at a sports bar though, bartender looked at me like I was crazy--but this is a great drink and it's inexpensive, too!

Like all of ya'll, I made some at home. I bought 'The Master of Mixes' Sweet/Sour Mixers, it was yellow and by itself tasted like lemon. I followed the recipe but did not taste as good as it did when I got one at a bar. Do they use the sugar syrup mix? or what mixer should I buy, and what's a nice tasting grenadine? I really want to drink them at home, so any help is good.
