12 oz IBC® root beer
2 oz Captain Morgan® Original spiced rum

Combine Captain Morgan spiced rum with IBC Root Beer over ice in a collins or tall glass. Stir, and serve.

2 oz. of rum??? I usually go 60%-40% with the 60 being whatever rootbeer i can find (I tried cream soda, but its just not as good. It ends up tasting like watered down rum.) and the 40% being Bacardi Coco. Amazing. In fact, my recipe could be my favorite recipe of all time.

I found this recipe when i had a bottle of black opal (black licorice liquor), and needed a palatable way to drink it. I tried a few mixers, then i found root beer. Whatever proportions you may prefer, root beer and licorice liquor is a wonderful mix.
