Pina Colada Jello Shots recipe

Pineapple juice and jello don't mix. It even says it on the jello box. The shots were runny.

Use Pineapple Jello instead of Pineapple juice. Pineapple juice has to much acid in it and the Jello will not set.

Just use 6oz pineapple flavored Jell-o and 1 cup Malibu Coconut Rum and 1 cup hot water. It's easier and it works.

Use Pineapple Jello instead of unflavored Jello and pineapple juice.

I used pineapple flavored jello mix and 1 cup malibu flavored rum. I addded canned pieces of pineapple into each shot to make it taste better!!

I made these during a Birthday Luau and everyone love them. I used Pineapple Jello and Malibu Rum w/ the 1 cupt hot water. It set in the ice trays with no problem However, it wasn't as solid as the jigglers.
