Bourbon Old-Fashioned recipe

The bourbon old fashioned, best cocktail ever. Why would anyone drink anything else? Here's how I make them; measure 1/2 tablespoon of sugar in an old fashioned glass, coat with angasturo bitters (about 6 drops). Add about 1/2 inch of club soda, stir until sugar dissolves. Stack 6-8 ice cubes in a cocktail shaker, pour two shots of bourbon over the ice and allow it to settle on the bottom. Add mixture from glass to the ice. Secure the shaker, and shake for about 6 times. Gently pour out contents into the old fashioned glass, add two maraschino cherries and an orange slice. Serve immediately.
