I made this drink for another bartender who gave me the freedom to make him "something good". All he asked was that it taste strong and include Midori, so this is what I came up with. The "tea" part of the name came from its reddish brown color when served over ice. The taste is similar to a flavored iced tea as well. I used this site to see if someone had already created a name for this drink, and didn't find one, so here it is!
