Escalator Martini recipe

This was created by Kevin Connelly in 2002. The name comes from Cockney rhyming slang - "apples and pears" = "stairs". Originally made using Vilmos korte palinka (Hungarian pear schnapps) but usually made with Poire William eau de vie, which is easier to find.

If Drambuie is substituted for the Zubrowka, it is a "Trewscalator".
