Islander 22 recipe

It was invented in Montreal in an appartment, when Joe Stonehouse mixed amaretto vodka and redbull .

He then brought it to The Pub in Ste Anne de Bellevue, where the bartender Sean Mcbrien added the uppercut style the next week.

That night 4 people drank 6 cans of red bull each. Totalling 30 islander 22s each. Since then it has grown ever more popular.

It is now one of the most popular shots at The Pub especially with the college students.

3 oz vodka
2 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1 can Red Bull® energy drink

Pour 1 can of Energy drink into 5 old fashion glasses

Shake the vodka and Amaretto with ice.

strain into 5 shot glasses

place a shot in each old fashion glass

drinks like an uppercut.
