Charlie Chaplin recipe

1 oz apricot brandy
1 oz sloe gin
1 oz lemon juice

Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into an old-fashioned glass over ice cubes, and serve.

Just brandy and sloe is a nice kick in the pants - the lemon juice kills the intensity and makes this drink much more bitter than sweet.

Try a little less lemon juice - to taste.

1:1:1 is fine, but try going a little light on the brandy and little bit heavy on the lemon juice (from concentrate). It comes out much smoother this way.
