1 1/2 oz Scotch whisky
3/4 oz amaretto almond liqueur

Pour ingredients into an old-fashioned glass over ice and serve.

*Bourbon may be substituted for scotch, if preferred.

A great drink if you're in a scotch mood but want something a little sweeter. Use blended scotch for the best taste.

There is no better drink for a true scotch drinker. Simply use your favourite blend and top with my prefered amount which is equal amounts of amaretto and there you have it. Serve on the rocks in an old fashioned glass or brandy glass sit back and relax.

Try neat with water.

Try with a dash of bitters.

Try with a garnish of lime or dash of lime juice (my favorite approach).

And always use fresh ice!
