Grasshopper recipe

3/4 oz green creme de menthe
3/4 oz white creme de cacao
3/4 oz light cream

Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

I love Grasshoppers!! Instead of cream we use vanilla icecream and swirl in some chocolate sryrup as well.YUUUMMMY!

Serve this drink pousse-cafe style (i.e., layered), with the creme de cacao on the bottom, the creme de menthe in the centre layer, and fresh cream on the top. It looks amazing, use it for a wow factor!

A couple of gay older men, who happened to be ranchers, were drunk on these and tried to pick me up in a bar in Billings, Montana. I thought, what the hell, and tried a grasshopper. That's as far as it went. Now, whenever I see somebody ordering a grasshopper, I think of those two crusty old louses and it gives me a really icky feeling. But the drink is nice.

Theres no alcohol in creme de menthe and creme de cacao... so adding an oz of vodka would help.
