Much better without the lemon, and use good single-malt scotch like Glenfiddich

Use with caution though, has a tendency to come back up when downed In double measures
Forget the lemon and the single malt

I've been enjoying rusty nails regularly (daily) for over 25 years now. A good blended Scotch is best...my favorite is Pinch. Previously it was Chevas...but Pinch got me! As far as using a great single malt in a rusty nail...I don't think it's worth it. Single malt is best with a splash of distilled (if you have it) water, no rocks. My fave single malt is Macallan Sherry oak of at least 18 yrs of age.
