Jack Rose Cocktail recipe

1 1/2 oz apple brandy
1 tsp grenadine syrup
juice of 1/2 limes

Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

Distinct without being cloying

Balanced and fruity without being cloying. Great alternative if you are tired of making Cosmo's. I recommend Daron - Calvados for a refined cocktail or apple brandy if you want a hotter cocktail.

I haven't had one in years I think I might try it again for Christmas. Found memories of feeling very grown up and sophisticated. Thanks Wally Strathy for introducing me to this drink . I hope you are happy and healthy where ever you are.
