Smooth stuff

This is generally the option taken by clubs. The other recipie for long island iced tea on this site has more ingredients and takes longer. But this stuff is great, goes down well at all parties.
No tequila

Use triple sec not tequila. The tequila gives it a different flavor. I have made it like this for years. I have been told that I make one of the best.

Forgetting Cointreau/Triple Sec.

And the lime juice of course, lime juice is key.
I repeat, NO TEQUILA

Tequila blows the "Iced Tea" flavor your trying to achieve. Eh, is also right you need the triple sec and fruit.
I agree

I agree with the views on mixing this one differently, but I guess that's why there's so many different drink recipes on this wonderful website. I want to try most all of them! Some drinks call for Tabasco sauce, instead of complaining about it, I personally will leave out Tabasco or skip those particular drinks. Some people may skip Tequila in drinks or choose different drinks.

Use White Tequila

Use like the recipe says but use the white tequila and also add triple-sec. Been making these like this for over 20 Years. Never had any complaints.
