You're going to get laughed at if someone asks for a White Lady and you use the above recipe...

This is one of the classic cocktail recipes of the 1920's, and I turn people on to it all the time. The potent kick of the booze mixed with the sharpness of the lemon quite belie its innocuous reputation as a "lady's drink".....

1.5 oz Gin
1.5 oz Cointreau
1 oz lemon juice

Garnish with lime twist...
