Moscow Mule recipe

Use fresh lime and pureed ginger.

Terrible recipe: use lime juice, bitters, and ginger beer. A new world of booze. If not, at least a great drink in the New Zealand summer.

Decent drink. I used diet ginger ale instead of regular.

If you really want this drink to taste awesome, use ginger beer, which is stronger and finishes with a bite. It is ultimately superior to using ginger ale. Also, use fresh lime only! Rose's or other lime juice won't be nearly as good.

My preferred way of doing it is in a copper mug, with crushed ice, ginger *beer* and a dash or three of angostura bitters, which does make a difference... and in my large mugs I tend to use a bit more vodka and a touch more ginger beer, and drop two or three of the squeezed lime quarters in the mug.

MUST BE MADE WITH GINGER BEER.
Trying to make this drink taste good with diet ginger ale is just plain foolish.
