This is how I've known them to be made. The recipe there is sort of a fast and dirty one, but the benedictine and kirschwasser make it sparkle :)

1.5 oz. Gin
.5 oz. Benedictine
.5 oz. Grenadine
Dash Lemon Juice
.5 oz. Cherry Brandy
Club Soda

Best way to pass the hours flying from London to Australia via Singapore (on Singapore Airlines). Ask the air stewardess to go easy on the pineapple juice!

I've had this drink at two different places and they were very different from each other. The 1st had lots of fruit juice but the 2nd had almost none. Both different, both so good that w/fruit I needed 2 ,w/o fruit it was so strong I only needed 1. It was strong in a good way, I wanted the glass to be larger.
