1 1/2 oz Malibu® coconut rum
1/2 oz peach schnapps
1/2 oz strawberry schnapps
1/2 oz banana liqueur
1/2 - 3/4 oz melon liqueur
1/4 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
1/2 oz orange juice
1/2 oz pineapple juice
1/4 - 1/2 oz pina colada mix
1 dash 7-Up® soda
1 splash heavy cream

Mix the first ten ingredients (malibu, peach, strawberry, banana, melon, blue, orange juice, pineapple juice, pina mix, 7-up) in a shaker. Pour into a hurricane glass, then top with cream. Serve with fresh fruit (except lime), and some filberts if desired.

I know the creator of this recipe listened to the Refreshments song and created the drink but I'm just wondering how he got these ingredients for the name Mekong. Do you know what and where the Mekong is?

Meking is a cheap Thai whiskey. Not some super flame-on rum drink. Americans dont need another excuse to invent some wannabe sit-by-your-above-ground-pool-and-try-to-be-tropical gay drink. Drink some whiskey on ice and do america a favor.
