Pour orange juice into a collins glass over two ice cubes. Fill with chilled champagne, stir very gently, and serve.

Better without the ice. Just chill everything before hand. No need to mix either, just pour in the OJ first.
Stir gently or no stir at all

You really don't want to stir at all since you'll lose all your bubbles that champagne is famous for.

This is the best on Christmas Day or New Year's or any day!! I agree with the "no ice" comment also. Just add oj and top with a glassful of chilled champagne! YUM!!

Great combination but isn't this a Bucks Fizz?

Never had a mimosa served with ice. Pour ice cold orange juice one-third way up a tall champagne flute, top with chilled champagne. Garnish with a small slice of orange or a cherry. Serve.

Pour champagne first, then splash with OJ. Top off with a slice of orange. Great summer drink.
Any special kind of champagne?

Is there any brand of champagne that tastes better than others for a Mimosa? I had one made with a Brut and it didn't taste good.

First I take a champagne flute or any thing similar and I use NO ice...Just porr in the OJ and then i use Spumante instead of champagne! It's great.
This can also be made in a Glass pitcher.....great for parties or company. Just use 1/2 OJ to 1?2 Spumante or champagne.

I love mimosas. I have found that asti spumate makes the best. I own a restaurant and would like to make a signature mimosa. I read that adding gran marnier adds a special flavor. Any comments on that???
