Sex on the Beach recipe

This is a popular Sex on the Beach and what is most likely the original. Popular substitutes include using pineapple for the orange, or Midori & Chambord instead of schnapps.

1 1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz peach schnapps
2 oz cranberry juice
2 oz orange juice

Add vodka and peach schnapps to a highball glass over ice. Fill with equal measures of cranberry juice and orange juice, and stir.

1 fluid ounce vodka
1/2 fluid ounce melon liqueur
1/2 fluid ounce raspberry flavored liqueur
1 1/2 fluid ounces pineapple juice
1 1/2 fluid ounces cranberry juice

And if you like real fruit you can make a Sex On The Beach with Sand In Your Crack...simply add 6 fresh raspberries and blend.

I made many researches about this drink and I discovered that SOTB was born in the middle 80's in New York to promote a liqueur called peach tree. A Barman who live in NY told me that the Original Recipe was: 1,5 oz Vodka - 1/2 oz Peachtree - 2 oz Orange juice - 2 oz Cranberry juice. Sorry for my bad english.

Had a party few months ago, and i made a 'group' sex on the beach. I had 1/10 of vodka and 1/10 of peach schapps. Reason for less alcohol is because there are less ice.

Anyway, best way to prepare is to drink and taste it yourself before serving.

Since it requires 1 oz. of vodka, if you wanted to make a punch bowl for 30 people, you would therefore put 30 oz. of vodka. So on... and so on.

Yeah to give it bigger portions it's simple, just alter the vodka instead of 1 oz. 1L

And the peach 750 ml.

Then massively top up with about 1-1.5 L of pineapple & 1-1.5 of cranberry.

And that should make it scrum-diddly-umptious.

You never know you might actually think your having, sex on the beach ;-)

Was fuckin lame but it tasted good. They give you about 1/2 a shot of vodka 1/2 a shot of schnapps and walla, 20 drinks later you might get a buzz..

Everybody says its better with pineapple juice but do you substitute it with one of the other juices or so you add the pineapple, orange, and cranberry......im having a girls night and ive never made this before.

This one sounds good, but the easier and more "effective" method?
2oz malibu coconut rum (any cocnut rum will work)
1.5-2oz pineapple juice
1.5-2ox cranberry juice
trust me, it's good, effective, and cheap to make. can also be made on a larger scale. i.e. beach orgies.
