Perfect Martini recipe

2 1/2 oz gin
1/2 oz dry vermouth
1/2 oz rosso vermouth

Stir ingredients and strain into a frosted cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of lemon, and serve.

Don't be afraid of the vermouth

Pretty good recipe. The first one that google comes up with that isn't afraid to
use vermouth. The new trend to use as little vermouth as possible is weird to me. Gin in a glass, no matter what kind is gin in a glass, not much of a martini if you ask me.

Yes, it's gin in a glass. I did 2 oz of gin, 1 oz dry martini 1 oz rozzo martini and two olives and called it a 'dirty Italian'. Tasts better, and less alcohol.

I prefer:
3 oz of Gin (Plymouth or Hendricks) with
1oz shot consisting of 3/4 dry vermouth, 1/4 sweet vermouth and
2 dashes of aromatic bitters!
