Not a lot of people know about this shot (considering I've been to a lot of bars and they don't have a clue on how to make it), but it tastes GREAT.

It was my girlfriend's first (legal) drink - she went to the bartender in this pub and asked for "something with Bailey's". She got a rattlesnake and LOVED it. It was actually served in an Old-Fashioned, not as a shot, but she nurses drinks anyway.

It bites you when you did not expect it.

The only trouble is explaining to bartenders, how to make it. If you pour the kahlua first, the baileys second, and the white creme de cacao third the cacao will seep between the baileys and kahlua - looks like a rattlesnake, and bites like one too.

I recently went to a reception for my neice and had a rattlesnake came to me and was told it contained southern comfort, wild turkey, coke and whiskey sour. Served in a shot. After 5 needed a ride home. Not a good drink if u have to get up in the morning for work. But loved the ones I had.
