Russian Bloody Mary recipe

1 part Stolichnaya® vodka
1 part salted tomato juice
2 drops Tabasco® sauce

Pour chilled vodka into a shot glass, and carefully add chilled tomato juice so that it falls to the bottom of the glass. Add tabasco sauce, and serve.

The instructions are backwards, otherwise it's great

The juice, or bloody mary mix is chilled and added first. The vodka is added carefully to float on top. I use a knife or a spoon, making sure the point of the knife or the bottom of the spoon is just touching (not submerged) the tomato juice or bloody mary mix and pouring vodka very carefully on top. Ideally, there will be NO intermixing, and there will be cleary visible layers of the mix and vodka.

I also prefer Ketel One vodka to Stoli.

Keep Vodka in the freezer and V8 or tomatoe juice in the "frig". I use Stoli.
