Not my first choice

Canton alone or on the rocks is pretty good. It's got a powerful ginger after-pop. It's not bad, but you definitely know the base of the liqueur.

The scotch doesn't really add to the drink. For an old scotch and water drinker, this is just an adulteration. The ginger is lost/overcome by the scotch and the scotch loses its nature.

Having tried both, in a 1-to-1, I needed a cocktail with broader appeal to younger and female tastes. 1-1-2 with Sprite works. The Canton returns with its after kick and the Scotch (yes, adulterated) hangs around to give the drink the body it needs.

It seems like all the places I've been are suddenly experiencing with CANTON (the new one I guess) and well .... I'm not crazy about ginger but CANTON is absolutely fabulous- It's sweet and spicy and well..very refreshing I LOVE IT! I suggest the Strawberry Ginger Martini, my personal favorite - DELICIOUS...
