1 1/2 oz light rum
1 oz limes
1 tsp powdered sugar

Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

This is the right way to make a Daiquiri! Good luck getting it at a bar though.

Could you use this as say, a template in which you could make your own daiquiri's? like with fresh fruit etc? or would it not work?

Saw this on Cocktail Kings with dimitri and Colin on Cable. made it that night and suddenly turned into a sophosticated alcoholic. BEWARE ths drink is extremely good.

Everyone has their own way of making Daiquiris...

Apparently this recipe and bartending books say otherwise.
I see Daiquiris in Margarita Glasses, not Martini Glasses.

Ingredients are different too...I think I'll make whatever feels comfortable...and tasty.
