Thought this would not be good, but it's great!

This recipe makes for a "weak" blend. I prefer about 5 ounces of tomato juice to one 12 oz can of cheap beer - preferrably Old Style.

And add in some salt...though it does make it fizz for whatever reason. the salt helps quite a bit though.

Someone told me about this and it sounds nasty. They made me a glass and it was good. =)
A better recipe, IMHO

One can of beer
One can of V8
Pour together, or one after the other and stir.
Yum.

Red Beer with lime.

This is how I make it and I love it. Start with a frozen mug, add tomato juice until about 1/3 to 1/2 full. Add juice from a half lime, some coarse salt, and beer (I use light beer which is good). As I drink it down, I slowly continue to add more beer. Man, it is really good and low-cal! Try it and somebody let me know if you like it.

Words fail me as to how horrible this is! My wife says it's like they tried to make a tomato soda. Ewww. Not for us.

Start with a 25oz frozen mug, fill 1/4 to 1/3 full with tomato juice, add 4-6 green olives with lots of juice to make it dirty and fill with your favorite lite lager. Make it spicy like I do and add plenty of cayenne after the olives and swirl in glass before adding beer. I hated red beer when I first tried it but after playing with it for awhile I LOVE them. Enjoy.
