Pour vodka into an iced highball glass. Fill partially with grapefruit juice and top with cranberry juice. Garnish with a lime wedge, and serve.

This isn't bad, but I suggest making it harder.

It's really nice, i too agree though make it harder because the juice out does the vodka by miles. So do it to taste but either way its nice!!...
Great summertime drink

The Sea Breeze is a classic summer time cocktail. You can make it in pitchers (provided you mutiply the ingredients) and serve at parties. It is excellent and could be a tad stronger, because you don't taste the vodka. Then again, you might want to be careful serving it at parties, 'cause it will definitely give a good buzz after a few drinks!

I made the mistake of making my first one when I was really thirsty... 30seconds later i made a double. I chose to use a 100proof vodka instead of the usual 80 which gave it just that little extra kick everyone is saying it needs. Also I float a slice of lime in it, gives it a little more tang.
A Manly Summer Refreshment

Drop the grapefruit juice and it is a fantastic drink on a hot day at the pool with surrounded by babes. It is best if served in a plastic cup with Flamingos on the cup. Especially if you are wearing a custom flamingo embroidered shirt. It really makes you look like a stud if you add an umbrella.
A bit more fruity.

Skip the vodka. For a bit more tropical use parrot bay coconut rum.
Fine just the way it is

Well for the guy who suggested that you "drop" the grapefruit juice, well then uh it would just be a vodka and cranberry, so it wouldnt even be called the same thing, but if you want to replace an ingredient, i have switched out the cranberry for pineapple juice. Its good either way.
CAPE CODDER! It's a freakin' Cape Codder
posted by might not be a man, but still more masculine than Terry @ 08:14PM, 9/19/07
Yeah, for the ever-so-masculine Terry, if you want to order that at a bar, you'd better refer to it as a Cape Codder, or you'll probably be laughed right out of the place. But hey, you never know, if they didn't double over laughing at the site of you and your flamingo regailia, they might not know how to laugh.
