First we use a 120 ounce Warp Core Bowl. You might be able to find something close a places like Pier 1 Imports or Home to Home. If you want the bubble effect you'll need some dry ice. Place a small amount of water 1 ounce on the bottom of the bowl and then pack it with ice. This will fuse the dry ice to the bottom of the bowl so it does not float to the top.

The recipe is as follows;
  • 2 ounces Bacardi 151 Rum,
  • 1 1/2 ounces each of Bacardi Limon, Bacardi Spice, Bacardi Select and Bacardi Light,
  • 2 ounces of Razzmatazz or a quality Raspberry Liqueur,
  • Top that off with 30 ounces of a high quality berry juice. Suggestions are Snapple Aceola Berry, Sobe Power or other energy or natural beverages similar. Stay away from anything such as cranberry, it's too bitter.

    I tried my first Warp Core Breach in Vagas on July 8th. It was awesome. I hope to be able to recreate it at home. Thanks for the recipe.
    Thank You!!!

    And, FWIW, here is my 'shortcut' recipe. At home I had on hand Bacardi Rum 151 and Apple Juice.

    Yep - good ol'e apple juice.

    Now, when preparing, shake A LOT because you will want a substantial amount of dillution to make the drink taste right. This is OK and very normal - same thing with Martinis - the ice melting when you shake is part of the drink!

    Using just ice, Bicardi, and apple juice with LOTS of mixing (sayk 16 vigourous shakes) I was able to get a flavor very close to the Warp Core Breaches I had at Quarks in Vegas.

    And...I LOVE this drink! And I LOVE Quarks!!! My wife and I ate there three times during our week in Vegas and Quarks is no doubt the place we will miss. We each ordered different entre's every night and were never dissapointed. And unless you are a heavy gambler and getting your meals for free, Quarks will give you the best value for dollar for food and drinks in Vegas. At least mucho better than most of the new hotels offer :::wink:::

    And in spite of my 'short cut' recipie above, I will *run* to Quarks next time in Vegas and order a Warp Core Breach and *anything* on the menu. This place ROCKS!!!
