Boston Tea Party recipe

An old-school TGI Friday's drink. Named after the 18th century event in Boston Harbor perpetrated by some typically smart-ass American malcontents.

1/2 oz gin
1/2 oz rum
1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz triple sec
1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1/2 oz Tia Maria® coffee liqueur
1/2 oz Grand Marnier® orange liqueur
2 oz sweet and sour mix
5 oz Coca-Cola®

Combine all ingredients (except coca-cola) in a shaker, shake and strain over ice, or combine ingredients in a collins glass with ice and shake. Top with coke, garnish with a lemon wedge, and serve.

Tea De Rico

posted by Jonathon @ 03:24AM, 7/25/06

This is the drink that Rico from the Friday's in Dearborn, MI made famous. It's a modified Boston Tea Party, with the following recipe...

1/2 oz gin
1/2 oz rum
1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz triple sec
1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1/2 oz Tia Maria® coffee liqueur
1/2 oz Grand Marnier® orange liqueur
2 oz sweet and sour mix
5 oz Coca-Cola®

Then add Captain Morgan Spiced Rum as well as Malibu on the top and you have created a Tea De Rico.
