Crown Jewel recipe

Crown Jewel gets it's name because each liquor used has a crown on the bottle, and the purple jewel tone color of the drink. A popular specialty of Nick Scaglione, made up first in his college years at University of North Texas, Denton, TX.

1 1/4 oz Crown Royal® Canadian whisky
1 1/4 oz Smirnoff® vodka
1 1/2 oz sweet and sour mix
1 1/2 oz cranberry juice
1 oz Chambord® raspberry liqueur
1 splash fresh lime juice

Mix all ingredients in a collins glass in order, top to bottom (floating chambord on top). Garnish with lime, and serve. To make shots instead, place all ingredients in a shaker and shake well.
