Shaky Jar recipe

Most popular at parties. Gets its name from the tradition of passing it around after it has been made and shaking it. Everyone takes part in the making by shaking it up!

1 liter vodka
6 lemons
6 limes
1 1/2 - 2 cups sugar

Pour bottle of vodka into a jug/jar; for example, a Rubbermaid large beverage storage container works best, then squeeze the juice of the lemons and limes into the container. After you have squeezed them, just throw them right in there as well. Last, add the sugar, more or less depending on your taste, and shake it. Remember to shake it a lot -- it is the Shaky Jar!... Shake until it is completely mixed, then either add ice into the container and serve, or serve in a glass/cup with lots of ice, because Shaky Jar doesn't taste its best unless it is very cold. Enjoy!
