The Terrybuster seems to have originated in the late 1990's in a popular Adelaide (Australia) drinking venue, the Archer Hotel. It was most likely invented by the lovable ex-Archer bartender Cian in honor of some regular customers. The drink went through some early modifications until the recipe was perfected and finally settled on the above ingridients and measures. Rumour has it that the earliest incarnations of the Terrybuster featured a dash of heavy stout beer.
